IDAHO STATE SONG
You've heard of the wonders our land does possess,
It's beautiful valleys and hills,
The majestic forests where nature abounds,
We love every nook and rill.

chorus
And here we have Idaho
Winning her way to fame.
Silver and gold in the sunlight blaze,
and romance lies in her name.
Singing, we're singing of you,
Ah, proudly too,
All our lives thru, we'll go
Singing, singing of you,
Singing of Idaho.

There's truly one state in this great land of ours
Where ideals can be realized.
The pioneers made it so for you and me,
A legacy we'll always prize.

chorus
And here we have Idaho
Winning her way to fame.
Silver and gold in the sunlight blaze,
and romance lies in her name.
Singing, we're singing of you,
Ah, proudly too,
All our lives thru, we'll go
Singing, singing of you,
Singing of Idaho.

IDAHO
Away beyond the hills of Idaho
Where yawning canyons greet the sun
As it smiles above the trees in Idaho
To say another night is done.

Warm summer winds toss the waving grain
Calling me back to my home again
To dream sweet memories of long ago
Beyond the hills of Idaho

The rolling hills of northern Idaho
Will always be a part of me
Like native steelheads swimming from the sea
Idaho is calling me

Cool mountain breezes kiss the snowy peaks
Drawing me back, I hear the mountains speak
You may love and dream wherever you may go
But your heart belongs to Idaho
Yes, your heart belongs to Idaho!
