It's a lot like being in Spain!

On this page are a selection of photos from our trip to Barcelona in April 2004:

1. The partially-completed Sagrada Familia demonstrates how completely the finished Sagrada Familia
will dominate the Barcelona skyline - sometime around 2200 AD.

2. The Sardana gets the whole square holding hands and
jumping up and down to a catchy and
bafflingly repetitive ditty.

3. The Catalonian Parliament building holds off the Ents'
attack.

4. La Rambla is an ideal natural habitat for
tableau artists (through cafes, chicken-sellers,
skeleton puppet mime artists,
newsagent-come-porn shops and drug dealers
appear equally at home.)

5. A partially-ruined wing of the cathedral is
re-used as Barcelona's answer to Kew gardens.
