A Toast to the FOSWe Salute You

In the past the Association faced the unfortunate situation in which it has to cancel some activities because of insufficient funds. An innovative way to raise funds was launched by the SAI called the "Friends of SAI (FOS)" project to fund its year long activities. Each year, the SAI will invite corporations to participate in the FOS project. Companies which donate S$2,000 or more to the SAI become immediately the "Friend of SAI" for that year. These FOS shall be placed on the invitation list as special guests to events and functions organised by the SAI and the Singapore Embassy. The FOS are also given spaces in the association's newsletter, S-Link, to advertise their products & services, launchings & promotions or staff recruitment. Each of the FOS shall be presented with a crystal memento by the Singapore Ambassador and Patron of SAI at its annual "Singapore Nite" in appreciation for their contribution and support.
