I was 9 years old when my father, well known All Breeds Judge, Vic Jones of Waratah Kennels, bred my first Cocker to be owned by myself. This was
Australian Champion Waratah Winterwind (Smokey).

To this day, Smokey's record has never been broken. He is the biggest winning Queensland bred Cocker Spaniel having won 27 All Breeds Best in Shows. All of these shows being Royals and Metropolitan shows. Smokey was also a winner of the CCC Guinneas final at the Brisbane Royal.
Sagapore Kennels have owned, bred and produced multiple Best in Show, 'In Show' and Best in Group winners throughout the years.
We at Sagapore Kennels campaign our cocker spaniels at the leading shows all over Australia. And we only breed for the betterment of the breed.
