U

Ubeans - Wix says that things have not gone well for him since that nasty business with the Ubeans. (Fair Trade)

Unferth (Christopher Neame) - Unferth is the chief warrior in King Hrothgar's kingdom; he challenges the Doctor to battle and is injured when the Doctor allows Unferth's sword to pass through him; Unferth stabs and kills Freya when she steps in to protect the Doctor; Unferth steals the "talisman" since he believes the Doctor is in league with Grendel. (Heroes and Demons)

Universal translator - Janeway tells Earhart and the other 37's that this device allows them to talk to other races even though they aren't speaking the same language. (The 37's) The universal translator is unable to translate the alien message because the alien's language is so unlike their own; Janeway has Kim remodulate the translator so that they can figure out what the message says. (The Swarm)

USS Billings - Janeway served as Commander on the USS Billings. (Night)

USS Dauntless - Voyager finds the Dauntless at the coordinates they find in the part of the data stream that Arturis decrypts; the Dauntless's registry number is NX01A; it was launched on stardate 51472; the ship traveled 60,000 light years in 3 months to get to the coordinates set on the auto navigation; the ship has a quantum slipstream drive; the message from Admiral Hayes encourages the Voyager crew to use the Dauntless to get home and that that everything the crew needs is on the ship; the Dauntless doesn't have any shuttlecraft, holodecks, or replicators and only has one transporter; Arturis puts the Dauntless into slipstream to take Janeway and Seven back to Borg space; Arturis destroys the navigational controls on the Dauntless so that no one can stop the ship; Voyager fires on the ship to disable their shields and beam Janeway and Seven back to Voyager; when the slipstream shuts down, the Dauntless is surrounded by Borg cubes. (Hope and Fear)

USSR - Rain tells Paris that the USSR broke up 5 years ago. (Future's End, Part 1)

USS Voyager - Starship: Intrepid class NCC 74656, 15 decks, 141 crew complement, bioneural circuitry, sustainable cruise velocity of warp factor 9.975; currently stranded in the Delta Quadrant. (Caretaker) Voyager is a 700,00 ton starship. (The Phage) Janeway lands the ship on the planet since the trinimbic interference in the upper atmosphere prevents them from getting a clear reading of the surface; Paris tells Earhart that Voyager can travel at Warp 9.99 which is about 4 billion miles a second. (The 37's) Barclay tells the Doctor that Voyager is really a holo-simulation whose purpose is to study the psychological impact of long-term isolation on a crew made up of Starfleet and Maquis crew members; there are two possible outcomes to this program: 1. Voyager makes it way back to Federation space. 2. Voyager is destroyed in the process. (Projections) Last known contact with Voyager was on 43807.5 (Non Sequitor) Tanis tells Janeway that Voyager is known as a ship of death since it is believed that they have killed the Caretaker, declared war on the Kazon and raided planets for their resources. (Cold Fire) Voyager has Type 6 photon torpedoes. (Dreadnought) When Quinn is trying to hide from Q, he makes Voyager an ornament on a Christmas tree. (Deathwish) Voyager's warp coils are damaged when Jonas causes an accident; the coils must be rebuilt before they can use Voyager's warp drive. (Investigations) A duplicate Voyager is created when Voyager exits the plasma drift; Voyager is badly damaged by the proton burst the duplicate Voyager emits; a spatial rift on Deck 15 connects the two Voyagers; the Vidiians board the duplicate Voyager and take over the ship; Janeway on the duplicate Voyager self-destructs her ship in order to save Voyager. (Deadlock) Janeway turns over command of Voyager to Tuvok when she and Chakotay get infected with a virus and are unable to leave the planet. (Resolutions) Janeway surrenders Voyager to Cullah after Voyager is boarded and she is unable to intiate the self-destruct sequence. (Basics, Part 1) Paris comes up with a plan to retake Voyager with the help of the Doctor, Suder and the Talaxians. (Basics, Part 2) Liria wants to board and impound Voyager but Janeway refuses to allow it. (The Chute) Braxton tells Janeway that Voyager is responsible for a temporal explosion in the 29th century which will destroy all of Earth's solar system; he says that debris from Voyager's hull was found in the explosion; Voyager stays in a high orbit so that it will not be detected by surveillance satellites; Rain detects Voyager in orbit around the Earth by tracking the warp emissions from the ship's engines; Janeway tells Starling that her ship could vaporize the entire building in the blink of an eye; Starling is able to download at least 20% of Voyager's computer data files by using the transporter beam as a downlink; Starling learns that Voyager was first launched in 2371. (Future's End, Part 1) The more legitimate news organizations think that the Voyager image is fraudulent, but the U.S. military is taking it more seriously; Chakotay says that they will use Voyager to ram the timeship if they have to; Braxton returns Voyager to the exaxt time and place where they first encountered the timeship. (Future's End, Part 2) Voyager is one of 3 ships that has witnessed a supernova explosion. (The Q and the Grey) Voyager becomes infected by a macrovirus. (Macrocosm) Bahrat says that Voyager's location and communications will be monitored while Voyager is at the station near the Nekrit expanse; the Kolaati want a sample of Voyager's warp plasma. (Fair Trade) Vorik says that there are currently 73 male crew members on Voyager, some of whom are already unavailable to mate with. (Blood Fever) Chakotay tells Riley that it will take Voyager about 67 years to make the journey home. (Unity) Voyager is able to disable the Etanian ship's primary reactor and weapons array using the tactical information contained in the data storage device that Tuvok found on the roof of the carriage. (Rise) In the reality Kes is experiencing, during the Year of Hell, Voyager was under constant attack from a race called the Krenim. (Before and After) Voyager's energy emissions are so high that they would corrupt the particles from the particle wake so they attempt to send a shuttlecraft to collect the particles instead; Paris tells the Doctor that the loss of leaving people behind has brought the Voyager crew closer together and that they've become a family now because of the pain they've shared . (Real Life) When Gegen and Veer do an analysis of Hogan's uniform, they find a microscopic identification code which they determine is the name of a vessel called Voyager; near the Nekrit expanse they hear about a ship called Voyager which has a group of explorers claiming to be from the other side of the galaxy; they acquire a cannister of Voyager's warp plasma; Gegen and Veer catch up with Voyager and determine that there are 148 life forms on board; Gegen observes that Voyager has a hierarchical social structure with clear differences in status and rank; Voyager is boarded and captured by the Voth; Odala tells Gegen that Voyager will be destroyed unless he retracts his claims regarding the Distant Origin theory. (Distant Origin) Voyager's crew members begin mysteriously disappearing and are replaced by Nyrians; Chakotay says that in the last 3 hours, 22 people have disappeared; another crew member disappears every 9 minutes and 20 seconds; at that rate the entire crew will be gone in 18 hours; before she disappears Janeway orders that all of Voyager's functions except for essential systems be shut down; after Neelix disappears, there are only 40 Voyager crew members left and there are more than 100 Nyrians on board; Chakotay shuts down Decks 11-15 after there are only about a dozen crew members left; the Nyrians intend to use Voyager to defend their acquisistions; according to the Nyrian records 148 crew members were transported to the Voyager compound. (Displaced) Kes has a telepathic vision about the destruction of Voyager. (Scorpion, Part 1) According to Seven, Voyager currently has a compliment of 32 Class 6 warhead photon torpedoes; the explosive yield of these torpedos is 200 iso-tons; Seven takes Voyager into the alien realm by accessing deflector control; some of the ship's systems work better with the Borg improvements so Janeway tells Chakotay to leave the Borg technology intact. (Scorpion, Part 2) Voyager is stuck at impulse power until Torres can remove the Borg hard hardware; half of Voyager's propulsion systems are overrun by Borg implants; as a gift, Kes pushes Voyager 9.5 thousand light years from where they were; this puts Voyager safely beyond Borg space and 10 years closer to home. (The Gift) When Voyager attempts to open a transwarp conduit, they end up ejecting the warp core; according to Janeway whenever there is an accident on Voyager, they investigate in order to minimize the chances that it will happen again; Seven determines that the accident was caused by erratic fluctuations in the ship's warp power when the tachyon levels rose to resonant frequencies. (Day of Honor) The B'omar decide to allow Voyager to travel through B'omar space but require that they not exceed Warp 4, they keep their weapons systems offline, they avoid any unnecessary scans, they not conduct surveys of any kind, they make no attempt to explore B'omar space, and they avoid communication with non-military craft; the course the B'omar have plotted for Voyager to follow will take week or months for them to travel; the course would avoid all populated systems and industrial areas; there are 17 checkpoints at which the B'omar want Janeway to submit Voyager for inspection; Janeway takes Voyager into B'omar space to find Seven, Tuvok and Paris. (The Raven) Voyager circles the binary pulsars at a distance of 90 million kilometers in order to avoid the bursts; Voyager has 257 rooms; when Janeway attempts to take Voyager between the binary pulsars, the hull begins to buckle when it reaches a temperature of 9000 degrees. (Scientific Method) Seven and Kim's improvements to the Astrometrics lab allows Voyager to set a new course that would take 5 years off their journey home; Voyager is being continually attacked as the ship travels through Krenim space; a power overload on Deck 5 causes half of the deck to be destroyed; 12 crew members are wounded and 2 crew members are killed; Chakotay recommends that they leave Voyager behind and attempt to cross Krenim space in the escape pods and shuttles; Janeway says that as long as Voyager is in one piece, they will stay on board; the entire turbolift system is non-functional after 19 main power relays are damaged in a Krenim attack; Paris comes up with the idea of setting up transverse bulkheads on Voyager between all decks and every section so that most of the crew would be protected in the event of a cataclysmic breach; the morale on Voyager worsens after continued attacks cause many of the primary systems to go down; the replicator system is badly damaged and the crew must eat emergency rations; the environmental controls on Voyager are continuing to fail; 7 decks of Voyager have been rendered uninhabitable; Seven is able to construct temporal shielding for Voyager which protects them from attack by the Krenim; the Krenim call Voyager componet 049 Beta; they had classified Voyager as an inert component but because of its temporal shielding Voyager has thrown off their calculations for the temporal incursion at the Garenor homeworld; Annorax tells Obrist to collect a 10 square meter sample of Voyager's hull; Janeway orders most of her crew to evacuate Voyager but she and the senior staff remain on Voyager. (Year of Hell, Part 1) Voyager takes refuge in a Class 9 nebula in order to make repairs; Annorax tells Chakotay and Paris that he could restore Voyager to its former state in the blink of an eye if they can give him information about their experiences in the quadrant so that he can see how other components were affected by their presence; Voyager entered Krenim space after it made a course correction 8 months earlier to avoid a rogue comet; Voyager forges a coalition with the Nihydron and the Mawasi to attack the time-ship; Voyager still has 6 photon torpedoes; Janeway says that Voyager is much more than inanimate object; she says that it has been their home, kept them together and that she feels as close to Voyager as she does to any member of the crew; one of the Mawasi ships collides with Voyager after it is hit; Janeway sets Voyager on a collision course with the time-ship; after Voyager collides with the time-ship, a temporal incursion occurs that restores Voyager to its original state before they entered Krenim space; after a warning from a Krenim vessel, Voyager plots a course around Krenim space. (Year of Hell, Part 2) Janeway and Torres buy a resonator coil on Mari in order to upgrade Voyager's communication system; Tuvok gives Nimira a tour of Voyager's and its security facilities; all of the crew are called back to the ship after Torres is arrested; Seven says that Voyager makes contact with alien species without sufficiently understanding their nature and that this often ends in conflict; Seven thinks that Voyager will increase its chances of survival if they maintain a direct course to Earth and avoid all extraneous contact with alien species. (Random Thoughts) Alien ships attack Voyager and use some kind of transporter beam to locate and remove objects of technological value; after they steal the main computer processor, Voyager loses their weapons, navigation and propulsion systems; some of the items that the aliens steal are the warp corp diagnostic, a biobed, 5 tricorders, 3 phaser rifles, a couple of photon torpedo casings, 2 antimatter injectors, a months supply of emergency rations, and the mobile emitter; since the ship's systems are at half capacity, it takes Voyager 10 days to track their stolen technology; the technical specifications of Voyager's main computer are it has simultaneous access to 47 million data channels, transluminal processing at 575 trillion calculations per nanosecond, and operational temperature margins from 10 degrees Kelvin to 1790 degrees Kelvin. (Concerning Flight) The aliens use some sort of dampening field to shut down Voyager's warp core; as soon as Chakotay enters his lucid dream, the crew begins falling asleep one by one; all the crew on Voyager are having the same dream; the Doctor is able to revive all of the crew after the neurogenic field is disabled. (Waking Moments) The Doctor says that Starfleet declared Voyager officially lost 14 months ago and that Starfleet won't stop until they find a way to get Voyager back home. (Message in a Bottle) Some of the Voyager crew receive personal messages from their family and friends back home; after the relay stations are disabled, Janeway worries about the crew because she thinks that they were hoping that "mail call" would be a regular part of their day. (Hunters) When Voyager is attacked by the Hirogen ships, the ship sustains a direct hit to the EPS manifold which causes main power to go down; the Hirogen also disable both of Voyager's nacelles so that the ship is unable to go to warp. (Prey) The Hirogen breach Voyager's hull and board the ship; half of the crew is locked up while the rest have been stabbed, shot, beaten, phasered, and bat'lethed for the past 3 weeks as part of the Hirogen's holodeck simulations; the Doctor says that there have been 28 casualties and 1 fatality in the past 12 hours; Kim is able to expand the holodeck by 5000 square meters by cutting through the bulkheads on Decks 4, 5 and 6; he reroutes power from all of Voyager's non-essential systems to get the necessary power to run the expanded holodeck; Alpha Hirogen tells Kim to intergrate the Hirogen power modules into Voyager's system to that he can expand the holodeck even more; he wants to transform Voyager into a vast simulation with a varied and endless supply of prey; the Voyager crew have been fighting for their lives on the holodeck for 19 days. (The Killing Game, Part 1) Janeway and Seven determine that there are 85 Hirogen on board Voyager; Alpha Hirogen wants to keep the Voyager crew alive to make repairs on Voyager; Janeway tells Alpha Hirogen that she and the crew will destroy Voyager before they surrender it to the Hirogen; after Janeway and the Hirogen call a truce, Janeway says that the damage to Voyager is extreme. (The Killing Game, Part 2) Steth tells Paris that he is lucky to be on a ship like Voyager; Voyager is one of the most advanced ships in Starfleet. (Vis A Vis)

USS Voyager The Kyrians believe that Voyager was one of the most powerful vessels of its time and had photonic torpedoes; 700 years later they are still feeling the impact of the Voyager encounter; the Kyrians believe that Voyager had a complement of 300 soldiers and that Voyager's torpedos had a 25-isoton yield; Quarren tells the Doctor that according to a partial schematic they found in the Cyrik Ocean, they believe that Voyager had triple-armored hull, 30 torpedo tubes, 25 phaser banks and was trying to get back home to Mars. (Living Witness) Voyager goes into gray mode since it is low on deuterium; Janeway decides to land the ship on the planet; Tuvok says that Voyager won't be able to get off the surface anytime soon since the landing caused a lot of damage; when a large pool of metallic compound forms beneath Voyager, the ship begins sinking; As Voyager begins to sink, Deck 14 and 15 are submerged in the metallic compound. (Demon) Voyager encounters a mutara class nebula; the entire crew except Seven and the Doctor are put into stasis units so that they can get through the nebula; malfunctions in the gel packs are causing false readings to Voyager's sensors; Seven cuts life support to all decks and reroutes the power to the stasis units in order to save the crew. (One) If the Voyager crew used the Dauntless to get home, they would have to leave Voyager behind; Janeway tells Paris to try to make modifications to Voyager so that the ship can create a slipstream; Arturis says that he hoped to get Voyager's entire crew on the Dauntless so that they would be assimilated; the modifications to Voyager allow the ship to attain slipstream velocity so that they can follow the Dauntless; Kim says that the ship's hull will start to buckle in less than an hour; after rescuing Janeway and Seven, Voyager remained in the quantum slipstream for over an hour before it finally collapsed and managed to get 300 light years closer to home. (Hope and Fear) It will take Voyager 2 years to cross the Void; it has been 53 days since Voyager entered the Void; the dampening field causes Voyager to lose main and auxiliary power; Janeway wants Voyager to go through the vortex and leave her behind to destroy it but the crew refuses to follow her orders; Voyager is able to get out of the Void when it is pushed out by the shockwave from the destruction of the spatial vortex.
