Memory engrams - The memory engrams in the dorsal region of Tuovk's hippocampus are being disrupted and causing physical damage to him; the Doctor discovers that a viral parasite is masquerading as an memory engram. (Flashback)

Mind meld - Vulcan psychocognitive research suggests that the patient experiencing T'lokan schism initiate a mind-meld with a family member to bring the repressed memory into the conscious mind; Tuvok asks Janeway to mind-meld with him since she is the closest thing he has to family on Voyager; during the mind-meld they end up on the Excelsior. (Flashback)

Nebula - The anomaly is a Class 17 nebula with the standard amounts of hydrogen and helium and 7000 parts per million of sirillium; the nebula that the Excelsior encountered was a Class 11 nebula; both nebulas contained trace amounts of sirillium. (Flashback)

Neuro-cortical monitor - The Doctor has Tuvok wear this monitor so that they can record a complete encephelographic profile if he has another episode; the monitor will also alert sick bay. (Flashback)

Parasite - - The Doctor discovers a viral parasite masquerading as a memory engram in Tuvok's brain; the origin and genome classification of the parasite is not on record; it thrives on peptides generated in the brain; the Doctor was able to kill it with thoron radiation; the parasite used the memory of the girl falling off the precipice as camoflage so that the host's mind would repress it; when the parasite sensed death in its host, it would find another host. (Flashback)

Peptide - Kes comes to Tuvok's quarters later because the Doctor wanted her to pick up additional peptide readings on Tuvok. (Flashback)
