EPISODE: CODA

Ballet - Janeway says that the dying swan dance that she learned when she was 6 years old was the hit of her beginning ballet class. (Coda)

Binary system - Janeway and Chakotay are surveying the 2nd planet in a binary system in order to collect nitrogenase compounds. (Coda)

Cerebral cortex - An alien entity is inhibiting Janeway's cerebral cortex and causing her to experience a series of hallucinations including ones involving the Vidiians and her father. (Coda)

Cerebrovascular collapse - The Doctor makes a note in the log that Janeway died at 0320 from massive cerrbrovascular collapse. (Coda)

Champagne - Janeway invites Chakotay to moonlight sail on Lake George with a bottle of champagne to celebrate that she cheated death. (Coda)

Clarinet - Kim performs a clarinet solo for Neelix's talent night. (Coda)

Cordrazine - The Doctor tells Kes to give Janeway 10 mg of cordrazine to try to revive Janeway. (Coda)

Cortical stimulator - The Doctor uses this in conjunction with the cordrazine to try to revive Janeway. (Coda)

Euthanasia - The Doctor tells Janeway that he has concluded that the only humane course of action for her is euthanasia. (Coda)

Gas flow separators - The gas flow separaters on the shuttle are damaged when the Vidiians attack the shuttle. (Coda)

Gravitometric force - The temporal anomaly exerts some sort of gravitometric force on the shuttle so that they are unable to break free. (Coda)

Homing signal - After they crash on the planet, Janeway sets up a homing signal to help Voyager find them; she disconnects the signal after Chakotay determines that they were shot down by the Vidiians. (Coda)

Hydrazine gas - There is a hydrazine gas leak in the shuttle after it is struck by lightning; they evacuate the shuttle after the hydrazine levels reach 112 parts per million. (Coda)

Inapprovaline - When the cordrazine does not revive Janeway, the Doctor tries 75 mg of inapprovaline along with direct synaptic stimulation. (Coda)

Janeway, Admiral (Len Cariou) - Janeway's father; her father appears on Voyager; he died over 15 years ago when he drowned under the polar ice cap on Tau Ceti Prime; his death was devastating to Janeway; he tells her that he is there to help her crossover into another state of consciousness; she discovers that her "father" is really an alien trying to get her to come into his matrix. (Coda)

Janeway Lambda 3 - Janeway uses this code to try to delete the Doctor when he begins to fill the bio-forcefield with a neural toxin in order to carry out the euthanasia. (Coda)

Lake George - Janeway invites Chakotay to moonlight sail on Lake George with a bottle of champagne to celebrate that she cheated death. (Coda)

Lightning - Chakotay and Janeway's shuttle gets hit by lightning; this damages the attitude control of the shuttle. (Coda)

Magnetic storm - The shuttle was caught in a magnetic storm which caused Janeway and Chakotay to crash on the planet. (Coda)

Magneton scan - Voyager uses the magneton scan to try to pick up any sign of Janeway's presence on board and to scan for temporal phase shifting, chroniton particles and field flux. (Coda)

Matrix - The alien tries to convince Janeway that the matrix is a place where she can be whatever she wants to be and that her loved ones are waiting for her there; when Janeway refuses to go into the matrix, the alien says that there will be another time that he will get her to come into his matrix and that she will nourish him for a long, long time. (Coda)

Microcellular scan - The Doctor determines that Janeway has contracted the Vidiian phage after he conducts a microcellular scan. (Coda)

Neural toxin - The Doctor fills the area within the bio-forcefield with a neural toxin in order to carry out the Janeway's euthanasia. (Coda)

Nitrogenase - Janeway and Chakotay went to the 2nd planet of the system to collect nitrogenase compounds. (Coda)

Phage - The Doctor determines that Janeway has contracted the Vidiian phage after he conducts a microcellular scan; he says that this strain of the phage is particularly virulent and there is no way to treat her; he suggests euthanasia to prevent her from dying a lingering, painful death. (Coda)

Phaser - Chakotay sees phaser burns on the hull of the shuttle; the energy signature is Vidiian. (Coda)

Quarantine - The Doctor quarantines Janeway in sickbay to prevent the spread of the Phage. (Coda)

Reactant injector - The Sacajawea's reactant injector is hit when the Vidiians fire on the shuttle. (Coda)

Sacajawea - This is the name of the shuttlecraft that Chakotay and Janeway use to survey the planet in order to collect nitrogenase compounds; the shuttle is hit by lightning and they are forced to land on the planet. (Coda)

Swan - The highlight of talent night was Janeway performing the dying swan dance that she learned when she was 6 years old. (Coda)

Synaptic stimulation - The Doctor thinks that direct synaptic stimulation may drive the alien presence out of Janeway's cerebral cortex. (Coda)

Tachyon burst - Chakotay and Janeway use a tachyon burst to try to disperse the temporal field; this seems to succeed when the Vidiian ships disappear. (Coda)

Talent night - Neelix has a talent night for the crew; Tuvok does a reading of Vulcan poetry; Kim performs a clarinet solo; the highlight of the evening was Janeway performing the dying swan dance that she learned when she was 6 years old. (Coda)

Tau Ceti Prime - Janeway's father drowned under the polar ice cap on Tau Ceti Prime. (Coda)

Temporal anomaly - Chakotay and Janeway find no evidence of a temporal anomaly even though they seem to be experiencing a repeating time loop; the temporal anomaly exerts some sort of gravitometric force on the shuttle so that they are unable to break free. (Coda)

Tissue scans - The Doctor does a series of deep level tissue scans to help him determine how to treat Janeway's phage. (Coda)

Vidiians - Chakotay determines that the phaser burns on the hull of the shuttle have a Vidiian energy signature; Janeway and Chakotay are killed by the Vidiians in the first time loop that occurs; they are attacked again by the Vidiians in the next time loop, but manage to disperse the temporal field with a tachyon burst; Chakotay doesn't remember either of these time loops, but only that they were attacked by the Vidiians and managed to escape. (Coda)
