R.E.A.C.H.
RACISM EDUCATION AWARENESS AND COMMUNICATION AT THE HIGH SCHOOL
How R.E.A.C.H. was established
Several years ago, after a racial incident at Brookline High School, a group of students and teachers organised an entire school day called Can We Talk? for discussions and activities focused on race and racism at BHS. After that day, those students and teachers joined togeather to form REACH. We strive toward equity in achievement by all people in school and in life; we believe that everyone has the ability to achieve, and there are many factors than can affect one's achievement. We are dedicated to educating about raising awareness of, and facilitating communication around issues of race and racism at BHS.
