GOOD/BAD MIDNITE MOVIES NEWS
There's good and bad news for MGM's Midnite Movies collectors - first the good:  the studio has announced a few of their August releases, however, most of them are just double feature DVDs containing titles previously released separetely.  Those that have been announced are The Abominable Dr. Phibes / Dr. Phibes Rises Again; Attack of the Puppet People / Village of the Giants; Beach Blanket Bingo / How to Stuff a Wild Bikini; Beach Party / Bikini Beach; Count Yorga, Vampire / Return of Count Yorga; Empire of the Ants / Tentacles; and The Fall of the House of Usher / The Pit and the Pendulum.

Now for the bad news.  It turns out that these titles, which are to be released on August 24th, will be exclusive to Best Buy stores.  There has been speculation as to why MGM made this puzzling decision, when they could make just as much money (if not more!) by selling them in every major store, but for those of you with a Best Buy in the area, consider yourselves lucky!
