My home made DIY speaker
DIY project I have worked on for about 2 years.
It has gone through many changes and I have done an enormous amount of calculus in building this thing. It is using a Silverflute W14RC2508 woofer and a Peerless 80DT2608 tweeter crossed over at 2500 hz. This version is a sealed design. The enclosure is a cylinder shape to help reduce standing waves, but until I get some cash to purchase the proper measurement equipment I don't know how much of a reduction there is. This project is far from complete as I am working on a ported design that will produce more bass. And I want to test out a few other tweeters in combination with this woofer and then practice some different finishing techniques for the outside of the enclosure.
