In 1787 the founding fathers of the American Republic embarked upon an ambitious endeavor to reinvent government in hopes of creating an American institution that would last for ages. The constitution that evolved out of the ensuing convention enacted a government that relied extensively upon a well informed and  involved populace. Today, from my viewpoint as a 22 year old young adult who recently graduated from college, I see the signs of this foundation withering. Instead of a well informed and involed public I see one embracing apathy. I see an America constantly emersed in disinformation, the addiction of quick fixes, the lack of understanding in what it means to be American, and the moral degradation these influences force upon all of us.          This site is more than just an attempt by myself to rant about my societal misgivings but to act as a beacon to those, both young of age and young of heart, who possess the same passion for our great country and who also notice the destructive forces chipping away at the very foundation that made America what it is over these past two centuries. These forces are attemting to create a mindset that propels us away from our American roots and forces us onto a path of self destruction.          We have always been a society of mixed cultures, peoples, and religion. What set us aside from other nations was that we maintained these as individual idenitities while working together to acheive a unified American dream. America's strugles have been the struggles of all its people not that of Caucasians, African-Americans, or Hispanics.  Political correctness has forced us to ignore our problems and allowed them to fester and rot our society from within.       The governing elite may try to ham string us by making immoral practices the norm, force us to support a burgeoning government that practices fiscal irrepsonsibility, and making propaganda educational material, but as I state at the top of the page it's My Mind, My Sanity. You could say I'm Pro Reality. A reality of an America founded upon those traditions that gave this country its meaning and one that will allow my kids to live with the same freedoms I enjoy now and not among a leftist socialist utopia that fosters problems and doesn't solve them.
