Welcome to the site for my book, "Running Through Deserts." (For a synopsis, scroll to the bottom of the page.)

This site is for all of YOU! I hope you'll look around at upcoming book signings and interviews, and read an excerpt from the book as well. "Running Through Deserts" is a Christian fiction novel for all ages, and so far its been a great story for passing on to friends and family. If you are looking for an easy read with a touching story of faith, hope, and God's life-altering power, I think this is the book for you!

As of May 2006, I officially graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Geography. My future holds a missions opportunity working with YWAM in Kona, Hawaii, but the book is still always available for purchase online. Since its publication, I've received wonderful, encouraging notes and words from those that have read it. I was even told that it found its way into the hands of a Hurricane Katrina victim.

If you do get to reading the book and enjoy it, I'd love it if you left a review on Amazon or Publishamerica.com. Also, you can still contact me through runningthroughdeserts@yahoo.com.

So, enjoy yourself! And choose from the links above to explore the site beyond this page. God bless you!

Back Cover Text:

Kathleen Newman is a missionary in a ni-Vanuatu tribe in the South Pacific Ocean. Here, she must deal with the harsh jungle elements, a formerly hostile people group, an adopted son, a fellow missionary from her past, and the anointed job of spreading the Gospel. Just when it seems that she has a firm grasp on life, a stranger enters her world...

Ella Levene, a burnt-out Hollywood director whose nightmares plague her, comes to the tribe for a two month adventure. As the two women soon learn, their worlds are very different.

In a world where God's love is tangible and a leap of faith is life-changing, three people learn a priceless lesson: don't ever believe that life is predictable, because God has an agenda that is far greater than our own.
