Warping, Thinking Outside the Box

============================

I have recently acquired a 27" Glimakra Victoria Table Loom.  It is not a sectional loom. And I do not have a warping reel.  So, I tried something I thought of during a sleepless night...and it worked!

I warped my sectional floor loom to the desired width, then placing the table loom facing the warp beam of the floor loom, I threaded front to back on the table loom and cranked/transferred the warp on to the table loom.  It kept even tension and went on like a breeze.

  On complicated threadings with a fine warp, count out the number of ends for each repeat and fasten them to the top of the beater (or castle, etc.) with masking tape, in the order they will be used.  It is easy to pull out from the tape one at a time and thread it through the heddle and the others stay in place.
