took on ALOT of rain just as we got started.
May 22, 2004: I was not able to get any new pictures this year, but they cooked out again, we all got
out and learned the "Cha Cha Slide" as a group, some did limbo contests for prizes. A few people
came up & did an unofficial "open mic" for all the crowd to hear. A good time was had by all in attendance. I was pleased to see several faces from this same event from last year. We also had some
free adjustments, ear candling, street vendors, Marietta Police & Fire Depts also came out again.
If you didn't make it this year, you missed out (but stayed a little drier!)

May 10, 2003 was a breezy morning, but warmed up nicely.
Several vendors came out & set up booths to show their wares &
offer products to all who attended. The grills were fired up all day
cooking hamburgers & hotdogs. The air castle & "water" air
slide were a
big hit with the kids! The Marietta Fire Dept came by with a hook &
ladder truck for the kids. The Marietta Police Department brought a
D.A.R.E. PT Cruiser by for all to check out.
Of course, the big feature was the talent contest held on the
main stage! Several contestants came and did their best to win the
hearts of the judges. Prizes were given to the winners. Goodie bags
from vendors & local businesses were also available for all who
came by that day. Great weather &
super planning had this day all wrapped up!
Dr. Bob Porter was a great & well respected man in this community. Sadly, he passed away. But his wife Debby & her staff continues to build & carry on his legacy offering great chiropractic service. Porter Family Chiropractic opened it's doors in 1987, and have been going strong every since. The new location on 2655 Dallas Highway, Suite 110, will open up new doors & make many new clients healthy & painfree! Give them a call right now!
