Our Wedding

On September 18th, 2004 we were married at the historic St. Paul's Basilica (Toronto's First Roman Catholic Parish)  in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our reception was at the equally historic "King Eddy" (Le Royal Meridian King Edward Hotel ).

With 140 of our closest family and friends attending we had  a truly memorable wedding. We hope that all of those who attended had as great a time as we did that day.

Our first trip to together was a 3 week tour of Peru through Gap Adventures

In the spring of 2005 we spent a week in beautiful Varadero, Cuba.

In the summer of 2003 we rented a car and drove around Ireland and Scotland. During this trip I proposed to Miranda

In the winter of 2004 we travelled to Japan for 3 weeks for business and a vacation.

In the summer of 2005 we spent a long weekend in New York City.

In the spring of 2006 we spent a sun-filled week in St. Pete's Beach, Florida.

In the summer of 2006 we spent two weeks travelling around the British Isles with Miranda's father.

It's A Girl!

On September 8th 2007, our first child Rachel Alma Rembala was born! We are now a family!

Florida

In the spring of 2008 we flew down to Florida to watch the STS-123 Shuttle Launch.

Richard's Trips Around the World

India

In the fall of 2007, two weeks after Rachel was born, I was sent on a business trip to India to attend a space conference in Hyderabad.

Japan

In 2005 and again in 2006, I travelled to Japan on business. These were my second and third trips to Japan. Amazing country!
