THE RECOVERY RESOURCE ALLIANCE MINISTRIES IS COMMITTED TO FREELY SUPPORT AND DULY SERVE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN NEED WITH RESPECT, DIGNITY, AND INTEGRITY. OUR MISSION IS TO BECOME A RAY OF HOPE FOR THOSE WHO SHALL COME AFTER US.

Greetings Family and Friends of Recovery,

The aim of this website is to bring about awareness of a newly formed non-profit 501 (c) 3 charitable corporation called...

"Recovery Resource Alliance Ministries" (RRAM).

This charitable organization is a peer run, peer lead, non-profit service organization exclusively established for charitable, educational, and support for those needing it the most...

"Individuals suffering from substance abuse addictions."

Now that a successful recovery process have become part of our lives, we very much would like to share our recovery resources and experience with individuals seeking recovery and hoping to be clean, sober, and free of active addiction. To that end, RRAM has been formed to assist in the recovery effort by educating and communicating recovery based networking skills to those seeking help and support while in recovery homes, treatment facilities and/or at home.
The RRAM Corporation is made up of members from the recovery community (for whom substance abuse had formally become a major problem) and individuals that have never had a substance abuse problem (however, having a burning desire to help and show goodwill towards those seeking a better way of life).

It is the intent of the Recovery Resource Alliance Miniseries to implement substance abuse recovery classes and meeting formats designed to introduce willing recovering individuals to the basic concept of "WORKING" (steps and/or other recovery tools), to stay clean, sober, and free of active addiction. The mission of these recovery classes and meeting formats is to provide a unique approach to ongoing recovery and to help in the transition to, and participation in, Anonymous Fellowships.

Our objective is to institute a format that differs from that of "Intensive Out-Patient", "Out-Patient", "AA", "NA", and "CA". Our intent is to help train, educate, and prepare committed recovering individuals with important job search and resources for job training skills.

The RRAM Corporation shall solicit participation from religious communities, governmental human resources agencies, the general public, foundations, and corporate departments set up for charities and donations.

The goal of the RRAM Corporation is to provide:

« Long term recovery solutions and assistance.

« Job search preparation coaching and counseling.

« Maintenance service, food service, and limited small building renovations.

« Transportation services.

« Elderly care services.

« Secretarial services.

These programs and services shall also provide human resource assistance, personal hygiene items, shoes, and clothing to those who need them the most.

Due to our current effort and commitment of assisting our first treatment facility (T.W.O. Entry House located at 1447 East 65th Street, Chicago, IL) in:

1) Forming an Entry House "Alumni Association" of former clients.

2) Establishing a facility "Tuesday Night" recovery meeting (attendance by clients of short term sitting on one side, long term clients sitting on the opposite side, and "Alumni Association" members sitting in the middle).

3) Conducting a "Detox Sponsorship Workshop" (also spearheaded by "Alumni Association" members).

The Recovery Resource Alliance Ministries is now offering the "Recovery Meeting on Demand" program (absolutely free), to any treatment facility, recovery homes, and/or religious institutions wanting to become involved in the "recovery from substance abuse" effort. The focus of this program concerns the disease of addiction and the recovery process needed to overcome it.

"The substance of choice is unimportant."

The "Recovery Meeting on Demand" program supports any and all programs of complete abstinence from any mind altering/mood changing substances. Besides establishing a positive recovery meeting format, this program will seek to develop an "Alumni Affiliation", or "Association", or "Recovery Social Club" within a facility to help bridge the gap from active addiction to "sustained long term recovery."

These "Affiliations", "Associations", and/or "Recovery Social Clubs" shall evolve, develop, and function independently, with the support of former clients (willing to share their progress and experience since leaving treatment) and the resources of the "Recovery Resource Alliance Miniseries."

In our labors to move forward with our mission, the RRAM Corporation have designed and developed appropriate formats for conducting meetings of recovery within treatment facilities for short term clients only and/or long term clients only, short and long term clients together, and also, an appropriate meeting format for long term clients, loving and supporting members of their families, and members of the facility Alumni. It is the hope of the RRAM Corporation to organize the establishment of many more "Alumni", "Affiliations", "Associations", and/or "Recovery Social Clubs" within other substance abuse treatment institutions throughout the greater Metropolitan area.
