CASE'MERE BEARS
Welcome to CASE'MERE BEARS! My name is Rachel Radman and I am the Artist of all CASE'MERE BEARS. All my Bears and other Critters are Designed and Handmade by me. Each one is cut, trimmed, and Needle Sculpted by me one at a time. I use various furs, Mohair, Alpaca, Vintage, and German Plush. All Furs come from a Non-Smoking home. All of my Creations are One Of A Kind As for myself, I have worked in some type of Art all my life. I was a Porcelain Doll Sculpter for many years until I was injured. That is when I turned to the Artistry of Bear Making. The Faces of my Creations have brought allot of happiness to many Collectors over the years. I have been in the Bear Artistry since 1995. Each one of my Creations have a Soul of thier own, and a Story to tell. You can see it their Face and Eyes! You can tell them all your Secrets and they will be a Friend to you always!
My Creations have been the Top Teddy Bear Magazines, and have been on Display in our States Capital Musuem. I have Achieved Awards for my Art, and I have filled my Bears and Other Critters with all the Love that one can hold.
In April of last year I was diagnosed with "inter-vascular lymphoma cancer". I went to hospital with a Guardian Angel. He was by my side all the time.
This is "TED", he knew all my doctors and visitors that came to see me. As there were some times I was just to tired to visit with anyone, he would keep them company.
Finally after 3-1/2 months of hospital stay and a long agressive recovery in learning how to walk all over again. In the end it will prove to have been worth it.
I lost a considerable amount of weight, and continue to do so. I still have not recovered to full potential. But I can walk s little now at least enough to transfer into my power-chair. However, all this has drawn me closely to my Bears and I still want to continue with my Bear Creations.
