"I had known Robert when I stayed in Italy for a longer period in the early seventies. He was there with his wife to study Italian. I remember how we spent many long nights in their kitchen, cooking, eating, enjoying what our student budgets were able to buy, and enjoying each others company. We met again in London few years later, and I used to think that some time or other our paths might cross again. Some ten years later we lost each other out of sight.

Last night I followed an impulse to check could I find a trace of Robert in the internet - and found his memorial page. A long story closes. (Wilfried from Germany)"
