Bloodspit Nights hail from Portland,Oregon. Forming in late 1999/Early 2000 they coined a sound unlike any of bands of the present day. Mixing many styles from traditional Japanese Hardcore to Scandinavian Vocal Reverb all mixed with a slight overtone of early 80's euro metal. The sheer brutality of the vocals put this band a step above the rest. BSN recorded 3 7 inches, and a soon to be released LP on Hardcore Holocaust.
The band Featured former Defiance member Alaric on Bass, Corey of Bomb Heaven on Guitar, Matt of Religious War on Vocals, and a revolving door of drummers. In their period of being a band they only played 7 shows. The last one being in 2003. It was an infelicitous decision for them to have broken up so prematurely in my opinion, but they will always live on through records. Unfortunatley some of the Bloodspit Nights records are rather elusive, but keep your eyes peeled for their New LP on Hardcore Holocaust. Although Bloodspit Nights have disbanded you can still hear the members in other bands. Corey is currently singing for Bomb Heaven, and Alaric and Matt have formed a new band called Dog Soldier which has a 7 inch coming out sometime in april and will be distributed through Hardcore Holocaust, and put out by Whisper In Darkness.s,
