This traditional Vendéen stone cottage and the newer Grange next door are situated just 5km from superb sandy beaches in the quiet village of St Hilaire La Forêt. The Cottage sleeps 6 (two double rooms and a room with bunks) and the Grange sleeps 5 (one double, one single rooms and twin beds in the lounge area). Both have terraces, barbecues and large private gardens backing on to fields. The village shop sells freshly baked baguettes, fruit and wine. The Vendée is famous for seafood, oysters are farmed locally. The coastline is sandy beaches perfect for children, body-boarding and surfing. For shopping, there is a Super-U in Jard (6km) and a Hypermarket in Les Sables d'Olonne (20km) |
