This game is my fav of all time and even though it get's ratings such as this it was the story that intrigued me more then anything. The whole psychology theory came into play which many people didn't know anything about and were lost within a few hours of the game. The story is so complex and not for the feeble of minds. It deals a lot with multiple personalities and the whole concept of Id, (which is a persons devil or bad side telling them to do bad things) and then the Superego, (which is a person's angel or good side telling them to do good things). The main character Fei Fong Wong had no control over his Id when things went wrong and when he got mad, therefore his Id would take over his body because Fei was not strong enough to keep him from taking over. The doctor Citan Uzuki was in fact from a place in the sky and was sent to the earth to monitor Fei so that his Id would not ever truely take his mind over. Fei has many sides to himself and at the starting he has no memory of his former life. He meets up with Elhaym Van Houten, Elly for short, and she's from Solaris, which is a place in the Sky for so called "better people" would live and call the people of earth "surface dwelling lambs". At first Elly almost killed Fei but she was attacked and Fei saved her. What I think shocked most people was that when she was attacked Fei said, "leave Elly alone" when he didn't even know her name at that time making people suspect something was amiss. Later on when they find out there true identities Fei and Elly had both lost their memories under unknown circumstances and actually had a kid named Emrelda. Fei had painted Elly's portrait many many years ago and they were orriginally married...Later on they find their lost love for each other and they find out the truth to their past together and eventually learn to love each other again. For those who may never play this game I just wanted them to know what it was about and realize how amazing the game really is. Just make sure you play it while your brains functioning. |
