Final Fantasy VIII
Known as a love tale to some from the makers of every other Final Fantasy game and many other popular rpg's, Square proudly introduces another Final Fantasy to the series and yet, every Final Fantasy game you would think should have some kind of connection to one another but alas, I don't think they do... So how is it that a company can make 8 games in a series without any relationship between any of them? Only Square knowns for sure and I for one, would love to find out if by any chance there was a connection between all the games.

This game takes place in some futuristic time with great technological advances we could not hope to see for aeons. Truly the Japanese minds create wonders in our modern age. OK, you start off practicing swordplay against a man named Seifer who takes things a little too far. During the battle Seifer slashes Squall across the face scaring him.
The game progresses and the battle for SEED is at hand to stop the Sorceress's evil intentions. Squall meets Rinoa at a dance in Balamb Garden (place where SEED members are trained) and she drags him into a dance in which he can't even do. He screws up several times by stepping on her feet and bumping into another couple but then she drags him back to the dance floor and they dance wonderfully. One thing leads to another and eventually Squall, Zell and Selphie are sent on a mission to help liberate a town. Little do they know that Rinoa is the one who is leading the liberation team. Squall in the very end falls for Rinoa and I guess you could say they live happily ever after...
Well, once all the crisis is over.
Down below is a picture of Irvine, one of the more funny characters in the game.
