You start off with Chrono and in your home town your celebrating your countries 1000th anniversary. You meet a young girl their, named Marle. She joins you and you go on to see one of the shows. A teleportation device made by Chrono's friend Lucca. Chrono tests it out and gets teleported from one pod, to the next. Marle then tries and gets sucked into a time portal due to the necklace she wears. Chrono goes after her and this starts a chain of events that alters history and begins the time travel events that are about to take place. You go from 1000 A.D. to 600 A.D., and to 12000 B.C., 65000000 B.C., up to as far as 2300 A.D. way in the future where survival looks bleak. You even go to the END OF TIME where nothing exsist except Gasper and The Master of War who teaches you how to use magic. |

If you beat the game you can go through it again to get another ending plus get doubles of some of the amazing items you find in the game for other characters. |
