Welcome to Robert Vidana's Website
A little about me:
My name is Robert and I'm a third year student here at Cal Poly.  This is my first quarter as a Politcal Science Major as I just switched from Business Adminstration.  I currently work at Sears as a salesman until I get an internship soon.  My interests in political science include law, which is why I switched majors as I plan to go to law school and emphasize in civil liberties.  My hobbies include listening to most genres of rock music, playing the guitar, hanging out with friends, playing tennis, reading, and watching independent movies.  I believe that education is key to living a successful life, not just for our future career, but also for living a happy life.  An incentive to our education is our salary after graduating Cal Poly and I have showed a table to inform people on this topic.  I have also linked websites to certain independent media centers that have many articles that can be read.  These are some of the best sites to go to for news as they are unbiased from corporate sponsorship, ideology, and usually have better quality reporting.

I love reading the news from independent media organizations, mainly because there is a less chance of corporate influence and more likely to be of higher quality reporting since the deadlines aren't as abrupt.  Here is a list of my favorites.
