Reenactments

One of the main reasons I decided to make a site, was to show some of the wonderful reenactments that take place. These reenactments is what has given my pride in my southern heritage. The following photos are taken by me at some of the local reenactments in and around Charleston.

Reenactment of the "Battle of Flood Tide"

June 12-14,1998

Charleston, SC

Camp site just North of the Battery.

Cannons near the battery set to fire on Federal Schooners attacking the battery and Charleston.

Same cannons as above firing.

One of the ships involved in "the battle" and taking heavy fire.

The Schooner Voyager getting ready for a sneak attack. Just when everyone thought they were out of ammo they mounted a surprise attack on the Battery.

The Schooner "Pride" epresenting a Federal fighting ship attacking confederate forces based at Castle Pinckney.

A Confederate $100 Bill that was found in my Great Grandmothers home after she passed away. It may have belonged to my Great Great Grandfather Isaac Ellison Metts who fought in the Confederate Army.
