From the Adjutant General's Report:

Private Moses Hayton: enrolled September 11th, 1862; mustered in on February 16th, 1863, at Peach Orchard, Lawrence County, Kentucky; mustered out at Louisville, Kentucky, September 15th, 1865.

From Ancestry.com: July 21st, 1891, Moses' widow, Sarah, applied for (439,079) and received (310,018) a pension as a resident of Kentucky based upon her deceased husband's service in Company D of the 39th Kentucky.

Note: Ancestry.com lists Moses and Sarah in the 1890 Special Veterans Census as residents of Lawrence County, residing outside of Louisa. This is probably just an incomplete or incorrect listing as widows were usually listed in the 1890 Special Veterans Census even if their husbands were long deceased.
