MILITARY DATA: At Paintsville, Kentucky, in February, 1864, incurred an injury to spine when his horse fell on him; admitted to “Fort Hospital at Louisa” on May 22, 1863, for “remit fever” and returned to duty 30 May, ’63. Hospitalized several other times as well.

MUSTERED OUT: 15 September, 1865, Louisville, Kentucky.

FAMILY DATA: Born 25 October, 1844, at Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky; Wife: (1) Susan McBrier; (2) Matilda Allen; married 30 September, 1902, at Mt. Vernon, Washington (record states both of Lawrence Co., Ohio).
