MARION CASTLE was a member of Company G, 39th KY Mounted Infantry. He was the son of Silburn Henderson Castle and Elizabeth Brown.

From the Adjutant General's Report: Private Marion Castle enrolled on November 20th, 1862; mustered-in on August 30th, 1863, at Louisa, Kentucky; and mustered-out with the regiment at Louisville on September 15th, 1865. No further notations for this soldier.
