Biography
David Hall was born circa 1840 in Lee County Virginia. He was the son of
Henry Hall (s/o Samuel & Spicy) and Agatha Branham.
He enlisted into the 39th Kentucky on November 22, 1862 at Peach Orchard, Lawrence County Kentucky. The Company Descriptive Roll describes him as, aged: 22 years, height: 6 feet, 1.5 inches, eyes: black, hair: black and dark complexion. David was mustered-out with the regiment on September 15, 1865 in Lousville, Kentucky.
This is the Obit for David Hall of the 39th!!! Found from Lawrence Co Ohio....it is only abstracted...
HALL, DAVID SWI APR. 29, 1913
David Hall, civil war veteran, died Monday on south Third street in
apartments at the old Klondike building. Mr. Hall was age 79 years and
was born in Lee county, Va. He was a member of the 39th Kentucky Company
K. The deceased has been married three times, his third wife now residing
at Yatesville, Ky. The following children survive his death, Owen of Grayson,
Ky., William and Wilburn, of Louisa, Ky., Mrs. Abe Webb and Mrs. Mays of
