Anderson Boyd, Private, Company G, was born about 1844 in Kentucky, a son of James Boyd.  He married Nancy J. Miller, born about 1841 in Lawrence County, a daughter of Robert Crawford Miller & Sarah Elizabeth Cooksey.  Anderson & Nancy had the following children, Robert, James, Andrew, Sarah A., Alonzo, Malissa G. and Leo.  Anderson is enumerated in the George’s Creek precinct of Lawrence County in the 1890 Census.  He was buried in the Julia Boyd Cemetery in Lawrence County.
