Private James Marion Akers

James Marion Akers, Private, Company B, was born about 1844 in Floyd County Kentucky.  He was the son of Jonathan Akers & Sarah Howell. He may have married Victoria Clay, a daughter of Jane Clay of Floyd County. James died of typhoid fever on April 5, 1863 at the General Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky.
