IDENTIFYING FEATURES:
*  very dark hairs on crown and base of stipe
*  broad, triangular fronds with very long stipes (even in very small plants)
*  crozier often elongating as it unfurls, covered in pale short hairs (even in very small plants)
*  often recorded as prostrate, but frequently seen with a fairly thin trunk up to 1 m high, occasionly to 2 m
*  sori fairly large
*  distict pale underside of fronds and contrasting darker veins
