| The habit studies above were photogaphed at Rippon Lea in Melbourne where the fern is growing in dense shade in a very protected fernery, and in a temperate climate, conditions quite different I suspect to those it would encounter in nature. Hence I would not be surprised if this specimen was not typical of plants found in the wild. |
