| ~The answer~ Why do I think You're the answer to this all What would happen If I really did fall It would take a lot To keep me satisfied I couldn't pretend I was You could tell if I lied I ask for a lot But I give just as much I'll know if it's fate By just one touch So now tell me baby Is the answer you I need you to tell me If this is really true ~A dream~ A whisper floating on the wind A rose petal dancing on the breeze Something magical is coming I can hear it in the trees A love so divine The stars shine brighter The world so full of music Everyday seems so much lighter A delicate dream is coming To doubt would be to deny I know it in my heart This love wont pass me by I'll raise my arm up And a blue wren will land It will chirp softly in my ear And I will understand ~Today~ Yesterday you would call me on the phone To say you're missing me Yesterday you would send me flowers And tell me I set you free But now those days are gone And I really dont know why Was it something that I did? It makes me want to cry Yesterday was a dream A time of the shooting star When everything was right And miracles weren't too far Yesterday you took my hand So I knew that you were there Today you're not around And you dont seem to care Maybe I dont fit in Today you find you dont need me And when you are in doubt You know just where I'll be Yesterday I thought I knew Where my life was near But today I'm not sure And change is what I fear So today I will stand up And make the step on my own I'll happily carry the burdon myself To know that I have flown |
| ~Please be true~ I want to ask you a thousand questions But I dont know where to start I want to tell you all the things That I'm feeling in my heart I want you to tell me That you're feeling this too Dont say that it's only me Who is left wanting you I want you to look inside The window of my soul I want to tell you everything But then I'd lose control I want this to be real And not another false dream Tell me that you feel it So I wont have to scream Please say that you'll be The guy I'm searching for Fulfil my every dream Then I wont have to search anymore Be true to what you tell me And dont hold back at all You have to be gentle For I've a long way to fall Please be the guy I think you are So honest and sweet and kind And take me into your arms Let love be what I find ~Poison~ Do you think I deserve The things you send my way Surely in your head You dont think I'll want to stay When all you give is gone There's nothing left for me I'm holding out my hand Why is it that you can't see? Delusion has taken you over If you think I'll take it all I know that I'm worth more Did you really think I'd fall? I can see what you want Your eyes never lie I know of your deception Did you want me to cry? I will rise up out of this A new day is coming through My life will be full of light When I get rid of you You're poison with all of your lies You try to get under my skin I know you are wanting But I will not let you in You try to poison my thoughts Darkening the sky You try to take me down When I want to fly Just know that I see the truth And it is you that will cry ~Take a chance~ I know that you've been hurt before So you don't want to take my hand I've got so much respect for you Don't doubt, because I understand You mean so much to me I can't wait to prove how I feel Please don't give up on love It can be so unreal I'm not gonna hurt you I can see you've built up a wall You won't let anyone inside Not even if you fall You must see what you are doing Having your guard up so much Dont push this chance away You cant ever lose touch You have to give love a chance I know that you are strong I promise that I wont hurt you And I'll never do you wrong |

| ~Dont~ It feels like home to me Whenever I'm in your arms Baby I feel so drawn to you I'm not immune to your charms I know you feel something for me Yet you say that its not enough Why cant you give us a try This hoping is getting pretty rough I know you dont want to hurt me But you dont know that you will You could discover I'm the one for you If you listen to what you feel I dont want to get over you In your arms I want to stay You told me that you were upset When I took my love away So I know we have something I see it in your smile Please dont deny this I atleast deserve a trial ~Moving on~ I've been waiting here Coz I thought that you would see The girl you needed in your life You'd say that it was me But that isn't going to happen Maybe I'm not for you My heart told me different Now I see whats true I will not sit here waiting Like I have done before I see that you dont feel it And that only hurts me more So I am moving on Taking a step on my own And the next thing I know I'll find that I have flown The first step is the hardest Watching you pass me by But I know I have to be strong I promise I will not cry If you see me down You can offer your hand Just dont push me And tell me you understand Once I start walking It will be hard to turn back So think about this now Before you head off track ~Believe~ There is always something To be learnt when there is pain Dont doubt that after a storm The sun will come out again We have so much strength If we look deep inside We can face our toughest battle Theres no need to run and hide I admit that it is scary When an obstacle jumps out To darken our path ahead And make us start to doubt But when we face it The challenge isn't so bad We can rise above it With strength we never knew we had So believe in yourself And you will go far When the night is darkest You just wish upon that star |
