I would like to introduced my self as Faculty Member(Physics) at The ICFAI Institute of Science and
Technology, BHUBANESWAR (INDIA).
I have worked on the general area of SOLID STATE IONICS, more specifically in
the area of HYDORGELS AND ALOCGELS by Sol-Gel route for my doctoral thesis,
which was submitted in APRIL 2001. My special intention was towards the
synthesis and characterization of different types of Gels synthesized by
different route. During my stay at IUC-DAEF, Indore, I have worked for
semiconductor nano-particles(Synthesis by different routes and
Characterizations) using PES (Photoelectron spectroscopy), XRD, SEM, TEM, EDAX
and SIMS techniques for characterization. Also, the nature of there work
contains running and maintaining the ESCA Machine, acquisition and analysis of
XPS, UPS and AES data for in-house research as well as for users community,
maintaining collaboration with the ESCA users coming from various institutes
and disciplines. I have also interaction with collaborators working in
different fields.
I am very much
keen to pursue my research career in the field of SOLID STATE IONICS
particularly the problems related to synthesis (by Sol-Gel routes and others)
and evaluation of materials and it’s based devices.
NATURE OF PRESENT WORK:
Nature of the present work consists of teaching the B.E. (Bachelor
of Engineering) and B. Tech (Bachelor of Technology) students including
workshop classes. Moreover, present work also offers the research work during
off-hours.
