About Rising Star Rising Star Performing Arts Academy offers comprehensive performing arts instruction encompassing: poetry and prose recitation; dramatic monologues and scene study; mime and movement; speech writing and presentations; and storytelling. Children enrolled in Rising Star Performing Arts Academy, will have fun in a safe environment with the opportunity to learn and develop their creative and communication skills. Taught in a relaxed atmosphere, students have an opportunity to learn through games, role playing, group discussion and impromptu presentations. Whether your child is a natural thespian or an introvert, classes will appeal to all personality types and skill levels. Students of Rising Star Performing Arts Academy are prepared to participate in the Kiwanis Festival for speech arts or drama held annually in February. And they will have an annual private assessment, with certificate of completion to track progress and achievement. |
