So here it is.............the complete band history of how we got started.

The original idea was to do a one-off project for the annual BSP talent show at the end of term before christmas. The line-up for this, by no means permanent, project were Nathan (our current vocalist), Simon Lord from Haetus, Cameron Mckay (a rather crazy Australian Bassist) and Erik Ruch (our current Drummer). The original tracklist was to play Muse's New Born and Bush's Swallowed. When it was discovered that Seb (a friends of nathan's and simon's at the time) was just begginning bass and was eager to play, he was drafted in instead of cameron. The tracklist then switched from Swallowed to Feeder's Buck Rogers and still Muse's New Born. The band worked under the name of "The Anti-Cone League" and practised a few times. at the same time another project was brewing to play Alien Ant Farm's Smooth Criminal. This included the same line up of Nathan, Erik and Seb but this time with the fast picking guitar talents of one Stefano Muttoni (suspected mafia member). This band worked under the name of "Mum PQ".

So........two bands, similar line ups, alot of potential. Then came the very controversial auditions.............

The Anti-Cone League auditioned first and got in on the basis of our Muse performance. Happy happy fun joy! Then came the Mum PQ audition. It was going well, till we collosally cocked it up. We didn't get in. Oh well, one down, one up. Then disaster struck gain, Simon decided not to perform at all as a semi protest for the fact that his band "Haetus" didnt get in. They couldn't audition because one of their guitarist Gregg Hobbs (Gimpy) doesnt live in France and could only come over for the Talent Show itself. Despite the fact that Haetus actually have a CD! A tad homosexualon the judges part  if you ask me. So........."The Anti-Cone League" were a guitarist short. Ha ha.........Cunning Plan! We brought back Stefano to fill Simon's shoes. We only had time for Stefano to learn one song so we dropped Buck Rogers and went for the Deftones's Bored which stefano had already used to win a battle of the bands contest in Dubai. As it turned out we loved playing Bored cus it gave us a big rush and an outlet for anger. Nathan could also sing very well. Stefano and I (Seb) still remember when we first heard Nathan shout on bored, we almost stopped playing in amazement! The band was named Phase 3 (bin laden thingy)

On the day of the talent show we all turned up in black, brought Nathan on as a gimp much to the amusement of the crowd, played a pink panther intro for the gimp who then proceeded to play trumpet on his arrival. Fun and frolics before jumping straight into the main riff of New Born. Bored followed and we finished about 4th in the show, highest of the rock bands. Not bad. We kept the name Phase 3 for a while.

We decided to get another guitarist. Enter Will Harvey, a new BSP student. He had a small stint with Cerberus (another BSP band) before we tried him out one saturday, under the watchfull eye of Simon (Haetus),  and immediately brought him in. Will is rather handy in that not only is he a sexy guitarist, but he has loadsa contacts, he's the one that gets us the practice room at La Clef every saturday, and hopefully some gigs in the future. Will is constantly talking of getting a 7-string guitar, so when he finally does we can add that into the mix. Since then the lineup has remained the same, althought the name (after much deliberation) has changed to Ripkore.

So there you have it. We now try to jam every saturday at Le Clef in St. Germain.
