Mom's Stroganoff
2 lbs lean tenderloin or sirloin |
Cut beef in strips and brown in 2 tbsp butter. Remove beef. Add remaining butter and saute onion, garlic and mushrooms. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients except sour cream. Return to heat and simmer until meat is tender. When ready to serve, add sour cream and fresh parsley. Serve with rice. Can also use dry mustard or horseradish in place of Worchestershire sauce. |
