09/13: Since day 1 Afrika  has been trying to bring the puppies into our bedroom at nite, so I decided to set up her old whelping pool in there.  So she can sleep with us and keep an eye on the kids.  Feeding schedule is every 4 hours:  midnite...4...8...noon...4...8...midnite.  With little snack now and then
Great eaters and all in all good pups, especially during the day

09/15:  Dew claws removed and mom & kids check up.  Everyone doing great.
The blue boy has taken to howling when he wants something NOW.  He winds himeself up and just lets out these long hound dog howls
Loves to snuggle and sleep on Paul chest while the boys watch their poker & Dirty Jobs shows.
The White/purple girl enjoys whinning for no reason sometimes -  quite the little chatter box.
Pink girl is sweet, quiet & snuggley. Never a peep out of her, but she could be saving it for later on.

09/20:  Visit from Granma Paula, who arrived with treats and lots of snuggles.
09/27: Eyes now open & top teeth are in. - let the trouble begin
09/30:  Puppies now have to sleep in their own whelping box in the main part of the house.  Way too noisey at feeding times at nite.
OCTOBER
10/01: White girl now has a purple collar
I now have put in papers in 1/2 the whelping box for them to go potty on, Blue & purple were the 1st to use it.
Pinky is not quite sure about it but it is cool to sleep on.
They love the sound it makes when walking on it.
10/02:  The gang had their 1st outing on the porch a short period, while I cleaned the whelping box.
They love to get around, with bhe boy leading the way hehe
They are doing great with paper training and sleeping much longer threw the nite.
They have learned that they do have vocal cords and they do lots of practicing with baby growling, whinning and howwwwling (so sweet)
All their teeth have now come threw.
10/05: I  have been started on puppy food as well as still nursing.
They are sleeping threw the nite with last feeding around 9pm and am feeding around 6am.  8-)
10/19: The pups are really growing & changing almost daily.
They have been dewormed. And nails done weekly.
They are lovong the outdoor Fl. room & puppy area.  The wake up early in the am wanting out to potty, eat & play.
They spend their days till early evening outside with the adults.
If I get up fast enough in the am. there are no messes in the whelping box from them, since they prefer to go outside  8-)

ATTACKKKKK   !!!!
It is almost time for the new pups to be heading off to their new home..  How time Flies.
The new families members are getting excited as they visit and watch the kids grow and change.
They are just about house broken (as long as the back door is open), we have had the odd accident whhich was my fault for not paying attention when they went o the door wanting out.
They spend their days/evenings coming and going in the house to puppy area as they please
Still sleeping great at nite.  They tend to wake for a few min. around 2am, but go right back to sleep till about 6 or so till I get up.  They run outside and go potty... Have breakfast, a quick play time then head off on their own to the whelping box, carate or dog bed for the first of many naps of the day..
Thank goodness for naps, that gives me a chance to clean up the toy messes & get some housework done with out the velgro kids around.
They love to play with the adults and everyone is quite gentle.
They have no problem coming when called for especially food time (3 times a day) and during growing spurts a quick snack.
Everyday they are learning something new.. so much fun to watch & play with.
They have picked up the habit from the adults, that when Paul comes home they all see who can run to the door first to greet him.  Tails a waggin', and lots of little yipps

11/01:  have been dewormed again
11/03:  a spa day for the gang... their first bath, nails, ears etc.
11/06:
We made our first big 2.5 hour trip to the Vet., who also just happens to be Granma Paula.  They made the trip without any trouble, but were in their glory when we arrived at the clinic to have a big play time out back of the clinic's HUGE play area.  Got lots of pictures and even got to play with Daddy Deputy Dawg.  Who was so gentle and loved playing with his kids.
Everyone got a clean bill of health by Dr. Jackson.
They all received their first set of shots, fecal check, over all health check up, 1st dose of heartworm medi. and Fl State health Certificates.

Left for another 2.5 hour trip home with one pit stop to potty at Starbucks  8-)   They were not crazy about the leash that kept following them around as they tried to escape from it.

11/08: Karma (Pinky)  is the 1st of the kidlets to leave home. Victoria & her twin daughters, Reba & Allie along with the RR brothers  Scout & Tucker came up early Sat. am  to collect Karma.  Tucker is actually her cousin...  from the Malakee (Afrika's 1/2 sister by same mom) /Magnum 2007 litter).

11/09  This are very quet here with just 2 kids.  They are not quite sure why Karma is not butting in their play time and they have it all tp themselves...
Everyone slept well, but needed a quick potty at 2am.  But then fell back to slepp till about 7am     8-)
Madison left today for her new home with new mom & dad Vicki & Skip and new fur brother Smokey Bear . Madison new call name is
"Cinnaman"
Not sure who is taking all this change the worst... Digby, Fergie or me  heheh.. Think it is Fergie.  She is spending all evening running all over thelace looking for the pups.
11/10 Everyone slept all threw the nite great in their new homes, even the pups that left this weekend.  Even Digby managed to settle in with the adults, since he had noone else his size to play with.
Got him up early Monday am .. pottied,, then headed back to mom's bed to catch up on the news with the rest of the gang  8-)
Karma is now know as
"Emma"
Digby is such a joy to have.  Potty, crate, leash tained.  Sites on command and does the4 RR come  hehe   Sleeps threw the nite till we get up in the am.
After Thanksgiving Digby will be going to live with Anne & Allen with a puggle furbrother.
Uncle Zulu, Mark & Sylvia came for a 5 day holiday for TG.
The best behaved of all the gang was Digby.  Loves to play with the girls.  Aunti Malake is so good to him and is keeping inline his training & manners.. and I guess it is works since he has such incredible manners for this young age.
Counsin Fergie is more like a play toy for him and mama Afrika is more like a fill in when everyone else has had enough  8-)

Excuse the mess in THEIR office, but after all it is THEIR play & sleeping area...
that is shared with me..
