Raluana |
Raluana is the name of our property outside Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. We bought the property in 1992, Helen designed the house, and I built it. It is an on-going project and I am always "finishing it off". |

And now it's winter, with hail on the ground and a nip in the air. The haycart was being used up until about 10 years ago on a farm on the Flurieu Peninsula. It was always one of Helen's dreams to have one in her garden. |

A sunny winter's morning, the birch trees are bare, the flag irises are flowering, and this is one of the views from our front verandah. |

Raluana is the name of a village on the island of New Britain in Papua New Guinea, where Helen's grandparents were missionaries. |
