COOPER'S  5TH  BIRTHDAY
Return to What's been Happening
HOME
Cooper turned 5 on the 12th of June. It was a Sunday, in the middle of a long weekend. We had a big day planned. Grandma and Grandpa Robbo were coming over for brunch, then we were going to Mount Barker to see a special advanced screening of Madagascar, followed by a train ride on Steamranger's Highlander to Strathalbyn and return, then finish off with a party at McDonalds with some of Cooper's friends from Kindy. The day was cold and windy (well, it's winter...) but the sun was shining and the skies were blue, and all went well except that Steamranger cancelled the afternoon trip, so we went to a playground instead. It was a very full day and Cooper enjoyed it, but he was most proud of the fact that he's now 5!
Heavy machinery is always a hit with Cooper, who is part owner of the B&C Construction Company that is constantly moving small piles of sand, rocks, or dirt around our property. For his birthday he got a crane to go with his bulldozers and dump trucks
