The natives call this place
Subterrainia, but the humans have dubbed it Underworld.
We play an integral part in their history. They have even included several
of our aspects in their own religions. Maybe we should be flattered.
When we knew the humans on a personal level, times were simple. But
they changed all of that.
I won't bore you with our
heritage, if you want a history lesson, go to the library in Relics
or Alexandretta.
Now we Sub-dwellers veil our every action to the humans. It is necessary.
They grew greedy and evil, we abandoned them.
We gave them excuses to forget and disbelieve our existance. The grand
lie being that their layer of earth--on which they dwell--is floating
on a layer of magma that causes surface volcanoes to occasionally erupt.
They soon forgot us, and their ties to us.
That's the way we like it.

Underworld is a role-playing site made for the people who enjoy fantasy. Typical of rp sites, you make a character and play as them on our message boards, the Underworld Post Office. It will definitely help to look around first. Pages like those found at the top of the navigation bar to the left of the screen are designed to help you use our system. You'll be able to choose your kingdom, character, etc... If you're new, there is a list of emails below which will help you in choosing a kingdom, and generally getting to know our system here.
