ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Robert G. Morris is an Iowan with a Ph.D. degree in physics from Iowa State University who became a foreign service officer after working as a scientist.  He served in Washington, Paris (United States Mission to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), Bonn, Buenos Aires and Madrid.  He and his wife Beverly have three sons and three grandchildren.  Now retired, they make their home in Ashland, Oregon, where they never miss a play at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.  Morris published a novel, Diplomatic Circles, in 1999 and another, Diplomatic Relations, in 2000
