STEWARDSHIP
AT ROCKWELL FALLS

Giving Thanks

Dear Friends and members...
September 11 was a day to change our thinking.  A day to change our priorities.  Suddenly so many of the things that we thought were important became a whole lot less important.  Suddenly things like faith, family and loved ones... always important, became even more so.  Suddenly,  giving thanks... always important, became even more so.  As we begin our annual stewardship program, I’d like to encourage you to think about giving thanks in a new way.
This year we’re going to take time to thank the people who help do things at church.  We will be thinking of all the hours that people give to make our Lord pleased with us.  We’re going to celebrate the number of volunteers that make this church a place that makes a difference in our community and our world.  We’re going to give thanks for all the money that people contribute to make our ministry work.  And most especially, we’re going to give thanks to God for calling us to minister together in the Rockwell Falls Presbyterian Church.
We’ll do this not only in worship, but also in our prayers.  Each week during the season, we are going to list the groups and individuals that we want to specifically thank that week.  We will ask you to specially thank them, and to pray for them.  In the process of doing this, I believe you will find out that there are many, many people whose time effort and money make this church the special place that it is.
