REPM is a partnership of individuals with specific interest in the world of work and the changing context of labour markets globally.  The partnership focuses on research and the promotion of innovative and sustainable employment initiatives.

The structure consists of a voluntary board of management overseeing a cluster of consultants and researchers who work together in teams.

Recently completed and current projects include:

• Identifying 'best practice' clustered models for vocational placement among regional secondary schools

• Report -  Projected economic growth and employment in the Cairns region

• A review of the structure and management of career guidance and excellence awards for secondary students

• Review of business management structure with recommendations

• Development of a database for regional training organisations in the region

• Developed and designed a framework for promoting Indigenous employment targeting 12,000 businesses.  

• Assessment of the 'uptake' of indigenous employment policy by Job Network Providers

• Evaluation of the Mentor Program for James Cook University with recommendations

• Researched and developed a public relations strategy for an independent organisation seeking to promote its profile in the community
