Bombay Death Metal outfit Reptilian Death have recorded their long awaited debut album called Total Annihilation.

The album is entitled Total Annihilation. It is basically divided into the 3 stages of Reptilian Death starting as a solo project of The Demonstealer where 5 Easy Ways To Murder Someone was created and recorded. In the second stage, the solo project changed from a spoofy death metal solo project to a proper death metal act. All the songs the band performed live are also on the recording. This part of the album also sees the vocal talents of Aditya of Exhumation featuring on the track Bathed In Blood. Interestingly, The Demonstealer has done all the guitar/bass playing on the album apart from the vocals and drums even for the band songs. The third part of the album is the latest offering from Reptilian Death, not as a band anymore, but as a solo spoofy death metal project. Nursery Rhymes For Satan's Children is a crazy, funny but yet brutal concept. It has 5 Rhymes in total including Baa Baa Bloody Sheep and Jack and Jenna Jameson. In all the album has a total of sixteen tracks.

Lyrically the album varies a lot. From the sick, twisted, funny, pornographic and gruesome lyrics of 5 Easy Ways To Muder Someone and Nursery Rhymes For Satans Children to the dark, evil and mystical Bathed In Blood and The Second Coming Of Evil to the suicidal No Way To Die. Total Annihilation and Reptilian Death are songs about death and destruction and Abortion is as obvious as its title states.

The overall sound and songwriting of the album is also varied and that too not just in the obvious difference of styles between the spoofy part and the full length tracks, but also between the full length tracks themselves. Songs like The Second Coming Of Evil, No Way To Die and Total Annihilation show some non death metal influences and a certain melodic elements where as Abortion is an out and out death metal track along with Bathed In Blood. Reptilian Death (the song) goes a whole step further, showcasing the bands technical ability with a series of tempo changes and odd time signatures and complex structures which will leave the listener in a daze.
