Boston Red Sox
This page is a dedicated fan page to the unyieldingly faithful fans of the storied Boston Red Sox.  Find pics of your favorite players, Bios, player history and recent team news.

My family's loyalty to the BoSox dates back to the early 1930's, when my grandfather used to take my father to weekend games at the timeless Fenway Park.  Although we've never enjoyed the taste of a World Series championship, there's never been a better time to be a Red Sox fan than here and now.

With the excitement of last year's successes coupled with the signing of a guy like Curt Schilling over the summer, it's safe to say that 2004 is shaping up to be wild ride.

So head out and get your tickets today!  I've been to 6 games already this year (one versus the hated Yankees) and enjoyed every minute of it.  If you haven't gotten tickets to sit atop the Green Monster, I suggest you try it.  The tickets are generally pretty cheap, too.  Go see Pedro, Schilling, Manny, and Nomar up close and personal at Fenway Park - the best place for baseball in America.

"I'm glad I live in Boston because I like that passion, I like these... I love going through... I mean I scroll through the Sons of Sam and the Dirt Dogs every day just to see what's out there on people's minds and it's, you know, that's one of the great things and it's hard for players because they don't understand it a lot but..."   ESPN's Peter Gammons, WEEI

Great Moments in Red Sox History

September 28, 2003 - Bill Mueller finishes the season atop the AL batting list with a .326 average, making it the fourth time in a five-year span that a Boston player has won the crown. Mueller set career highs in nearly every offensive category just two years after breaking his knee attempting to make a sliding catch near the brick wall at Wrigley Field.

November 16, 1999 - Pedro Martinez is named the unanimous winner of the AL Cy Young Award, setting career bests with 23 wins and only 4 losses, and posting a stellar 2.07 ERA. He had won the award the in 1997 in Montreal, making him one of three pitchers to win pitching's highest honor in both leagues.
