Welcome! I graduated from the College of Charleston in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Through the College of Charleston, I spent time in 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade classrooms. I have been teaching ever since. I taught 4th grade in Charleston County for three years, and then stayed home for two years when my daughter was born. My daughter and I both returned to school in the private sector when she was two years old.  I taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 10th grade in a private Christian school for four years. At that point, my husband and I were trying hard for our second child, so I began home schooling. We began home schooling in Kindergarten. I have two great children and am in my third year of homeschooling, and love it.  I have held a state teaching certification for grades 1st-8th, an ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) teaching certification, and my certifications to administer the Iowa & the Stanford achievement tests to home-schoolers through BJUP. For the 2007-2008 school year I am offering an art class, science lab class, and standardize testing in my home.  Please follow the links on your right for more information.
