"What do you mean stupid girl?" Jaken asked. "I'm not stupid!" Rin screamed at him. "I think I may know a way to bring Sessho-maru-sama back to life! We can use the Tensegia!" she said. "What?!" Jaken was shocked. Why didn't he think of that? "But wait. Only Lord Sessho-maru can wield the Tensegia." "Well I can try," said Rin with a proud look on her face and her arms crossed. "Whatever..." said a doubtful Jaken, and he walked a few feet away and sat down again with his back turned to Rin. "Hmph.." Rin was sorry he felt that way but that didn't stop her from trying.
Rin looked at the Tensegia for a moment or two and stood up. She put her hand on the handle and gripped it tight. She took a deep breath and pulled out the blade. She was amazed at how easily it slipped out of its scabbard. She held the blade in front of her and looked down at Sessho-maru. "Here it goes," she said to herself.
*Note: I unfortunately have never read the part where Sessho-maru brought Rin back to life...*opps I kinda ruined it for myself* but I will make up my own way...*wink*
Her heart set off the Tensegia and it glowed an awesome glow (*Note: I like that line.). She took another deep breath as she stared at the bright glow of the blade. She then lifted it high into the air and struck it down on top of Sessho-maru's lifeliess body. A bright light surrounded the three. Rin could feel the power of the blade renewing her master's body. The light came to a stop and everything was silent. Rin thought the blade had been unable to awaken her master.
"No! It has to work! It just has to!" Rin began to cry again and collapsed onto Sessho-maru's chest. Rin stopped her crying as she felt warmth from Sessho-maru's body. She stayed there waiting for any other signs of life. *Gasp!!* Sessho-maru's chest lifted from the ground as he gasped for air. Rin fell away from Sessho-maru's chest. She kept blinking in disbelief until Sessho-maru's breathing eased at a normal pace. Sessho-maru looked toward the sky and thought, 'What happened? The last thing I remember is being shot by one of...Kagome's arrows! He suddenly sat up and stared wide-eyed in the direction of his feet.
He turned to his right and saw a shocked look on Jaken's face with his mouth hanging open. "L-Lord Sessho-maru! Y-You're alive!" Jaken cried and started running towards Sessho-maru. Sessho-maru looked back at his feet and held out a stiff arm letting Jaken run into the palm of his hand and knocking Jaken unconscious. "Tee hee!" Rin giggled. "Rin?" said Sessho-maru as he turned his head slowly to his left to see the little girl a foot away from him with a smile on her face. "Rin...what happened?" he asked her. Before she could answer his question, he looked down at his chest and a blood stain on his kimono. He touched it lightly with his left index finger and pulled it away only to show his finger completely covered in blood. He then looked at the arrow laying on the ground behind the still unconscious Jaken. He turned back to Rin awaiting an answer. "Sessho-maru-sama was hit by Kagome's arrow and Sessho-maru-sama passed away," she replied. "Then how is it that I'm still alive?" he asked her. "I used the Tensegia, Sessho-maru-sama." "YOU WHAT?!" he exclaimed. "How in seven hells did you do that?" Rin was kind of surprised by his expression. She at least expected a 'Thank you' from him. Oh well, what do you expect from a demon? Sessho-maru thought to himself for awhile trying to figure out how in the world a little girl could posses the power to use such a blade.
"It was the only way i could bring you back, Lord Sessho-maru-sama," said Rin. Sessho-maru looked at her with concern but also with a loving touch. Rin just smiled as if telling him, 'You're welcome!'
