Hi all, I'm Jess, and this is the website I've dedicated to my baby, ahem, my Rebel!!

The things I've added so far to my Rebel include a windshield, LeatherLyke saddlebags, sissybar without pad, fuel filter, rear light additions, and Garfield when he feels like a ride :-)

Here is a picture of the most recent addition I did. I really wanted a clock but could never find one I liked. I learned about this mod from Duke on the Rebel Forum. The instructions I used are here. It's little hard to see in this photo, but the clock is in the lower outside corner. It looks a lot better live, and it's super cool.

Here is a picture from a day trip I took last summer (2004) south and west of Salt Lake City. This is on state highway 68. Utah Lake is directly behind (Provo is on the other side of the lake) and the Wasatch mountains are in the background.

Here are the most recent overall pics of my 2002 Honda Rebel 250. These are the best views of the sissy bar, I think it really completes the cruiser look (plus it's handy for strapping things down).

Here's a picture from spring 2003. My mom took this when I went to go wish her a happy birthday. That was such a fun drive - beautiful weather, nice roads, music in my helmet.... It was my first long ride (400+) miles, I did it to see if I thought I could ride all the way to Colorado that summer.

Here is the first add-on I got for my Rebel. I got this windshield from JCWhitney, it's a National Cycle Street Shield, clear, and I think the medium sized one (don't quite remember). Garfield enjoys the ride!

Here are some pictures of the LeatherLyke saddlebags I got in 2003. I love them! They are lockable and waterproof, and hold a decent amount of stuff. Very easy to install and take off.

Here is a good shot of how much these bags can hold. Two gallons, plus a bit left over. The height of the gallon jug is about as tall as the bag is. You can also kind of see here how the sissy bar and bag is attached.

Here's a nice shot of how the rear lights got moved back next to the license plate. The bags came with a kit to move the lights (basically just a bracket and the bolts).

I'm not sure if they make LeatherLykes for the Rebel anymore, last I checked they aren't on their website anymore but maybe you can get them direct from a dealer?

Here is a pic of the fuel filter I put on summer 2003 before my Colorado ride. I just went to an automotive store (O'Reilly's) and asked for an inline fuel filter for a 1/4 inch line. Simply cut line, insert filter, ride. I think it's worth a couple bucks to keep the carburetor cleaner.

Here are a couple shots of one of my favorite additions. I got these lights from www.electricalconnection.com. It's a kit to convert the rear blinkers into red running lights. The kit is 2 sets of red LEDs and the wiring needed to make the amber-colored blinkers into red running lights. It was pretty simple to install (given the pain in the rear to get to the wires back there), and I feel so much safer riding at night. Instead of one little taillight, now I have three. And when the blinker is turned on, the light cycles red-amber-red-amber.

On the left is normal, right is with the blinker on. For some reason the camera makes my brake light look orange, but it really is red.
